As some of you know I’m an Apple fiend. I have my iPhone and my MacBook.  Well with the announcement of the new iPad refresh I’ve decided to pick up a new toy. A old iPad Pro 10.5″!  Yes, it’s now a discontinued model… But, it has a better screen which includes ProMotion and a higher refresh rate. As well as twice as many speakers.

It costs the same as the new air with the only major downsize being a slightly slower processor. But, this processor works well for graphics. Ultimately, this will work well for writing on the go when I don’t want to drag my laptop around as well as for sketches and maps that I like to sometimes include in my books.

The only thing missing that I have on my MacBook is vellum. Maybe one day…. Scrivener works wonderfully and everything syncs with my dropbox. So it is very easy to swap between devices.
